Many companies are now in the process of answering this question to meet the May 2018 deadline. Beyond that date, fines of either €20M or up to 4% of global revenue, whichever is greater, may apply. For some organizations that could mean billions.
Perhaps more importantly, however, is the potential breakdown in the relationship with customers. GDPR is about that relationship. Capgemini conducted a recent survey* that found that less than a third of the financial services respondents offer both strong data privacy practices and a sound security strategy. We think that those organizations that can create a better partnership with their clients can reap significant rewards.
We invite you to take the following short questionnaire, which asks both general and role-specific questions relating to data storage, access and privacy. The goal is to provide a snapshot of your organization’s readiness for the GDPR regulation. It will only take you 15 minutes.
On completing the questionnaire, we will send you a high level assessment of your organization’s readiness, and the opportunity to discuss this with a member of our GDPR team. Your response to the questionnaire, as well as your assessment, will not be shared.
This survey is done on an anonymous basis. Appropriate encryption means are used to ensure that your name cannot be linked to any response provided. If you voluntarily decided to provide personal data, you agree to its automatic processing. Under applicable local law, you have a right to access and rectify your personal data or request its deletion. In order to do so, please send a request to Capgemini’s Group Communications.questionnaire
